The Glasair IIS-RG is a high performance experimental aircraft sold "as is" and without warranty
xxxxxAssuming a purchase at full price, the owner-builder will provide the services described below for the new owner who prefers to have finish work completed for them. For a flat labor rate of $7,000 (60 to 90 day turn-time), the following (except #8) will be done prior to pick-up or delivery:

                      (1) final exterior acrylic urethane gloss white paint,
                      (2) interior headliner, door panels, seats, carpet, dash, panel
                      (3) engine instrument and fuel probe installation,
                      (4) flight panel instrument installation,
                      (5) avionics installation and testing (VFR only)
                      (6) auto-pilot control unit installation and testing
                      (7) electrical wiring, breakers finish & testing
                        (8) final assembly, static systems checkout at your hangar

xxxxxHow much the materials, supplies and equipment costs depends upon your choices. The lowest estimate for non-TSO'd equipment is about $12,000. The autopilot control unit is about ($5,000) and can be connected to the servos later. Whatever you decide, here's how it works ...

xxxxxBeginning at the time of your inspection visit, you help prepare the materials lists, budget and layout diagrams for all work to be performed. You purchase all materials, supplies, and equipment or provide an equipment account for purchases. You pay round-trip automobile gas and lodging expenses for the final assembly trip if that is desired. If you do not require all of the services, a special plan and price can be arranged.

xxxxxSorry, time constraints prevent making detailed material and labor quotes to any party other than a prospective buyer at the time the aircraft is inspected. These services are an accomodation to buyers who would like services performed for them. There is no obligation to purchase any of these services. Engine start-up, ground taxi and flight testing services are not available.
